The municipal election was held Monday, October 16, 2017

The polling station was the Claresholm Community Centre located at 5920 - 8th Street West.
Voting hours were 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

There was a by-election held for the position of ONE COUNCILLOR on Monday, October 15, 2018.

Election Day & Polling Stations

Election Day is Monday, October 16, 2017. Polling station is the Claresholm Community Centre located at 5920 - 8th Street West. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Advance poll will take place on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Claresholm Community Centre north hall for anyone who will not be able to vote on Election Day.

Voter Identification is required by all voters. Each voter must produce one piece of identification that establishes both the elector’s name and current address. For information regarding Voter Eligibility Identification Requirements, please click the link below.

You must be a Canadian Citizen and have been a resident of Alberta for at least six (6) months immediately preceding Election Day. Your place of residence must be in the Town of Claresholm on Election Day in order to vote for Mayor and Councillors.
